Joanna Roseberry, age 72, of Tybee Island, died on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at her residence under the care of Hospice Savannah and surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Savannah on September 10, 1954, to the late Joe Anderson and the late Adela Desoto Anderson and lived on Tybee Island all her life. Joanna graduated from Johnson High School and was a certified nursing assistant with Ocean Breeze Personal Care Home for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed taking care of her "cats", no stray cat would go hungry on her watch. She especially loved time with her family and friends. Joanna was very strong willed, if she said she was going to do something she would do it, good or bad. She was very caring and enjoyed taking care of the residents in her care while she worked. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Allen Roseberry and her sisters, Judy and Yevette. 

She is survived by her son, Curt Roseberry and his wife Renee of Savannah; a grandson, Logan Paul Thomas; her siblings, Darcia Williams, Jack Anderson, Joel Anderson, Katrin Taylor and Mavis; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. 

The family will hold a service at a later date.
